A Gift for Reading the TelePrompter

How on earth did I miss this?

We can be extremely grateful that we have on our side such solid, articulate, intelligent, yes, and beautiful, Conservative women as Coulter, Palin, Bachman, and… Cheney. Liz, that is:

Dare we dream of a Palin/Cheney ticket in 2016?

That’s a great clip, thanks. But please stop with the Palin obsession. She has revealed herself to be not the sharpest pencil in the drawer, and that matters in high public office. Make her head of the Republican National Committee, but let’s stop imaging her in the White House or Veep’s office. She ‘aint got it and we need someone who does. Cheney, however, seems a few steps better.

sasoc–not an obsession, simply a possibility, especially given the caliber of other potential candidates… and notice I said 2016, which gives her a few more years to grow into herself. Although you’re correct; perhaps a few years as RNC Chair would season her, too. Things to think about.

The term “empty suit” comes to mind.

IOW: “I don’t like him, he’s one of THOSE people.”

    • Stoutcat says:

Wheat Sirpir: if by “THOSE people” you mean inexperienced, non-leadership-abled, anti-semitic, Ameri-pologetic, ally-deserting, wealth-redistributing, radical-loving, enemy-embracing, power-hungry socialists, then yes, you hit the nail right on the head.

On the other hand, if by “THOSE people” you mean (half) black people, then no. I’d rather see Condi Rice, Colin Powell, Thomas Sowell, J.C. Watts, Col. Allen West, or even Adm. Percy FitzWallace in the White House than our current President. It’s not about race, it’s about ability, intelligence, standards, and the love of America.
