Are They Finally Listening? Probably Not

This video from last night’s Hannity show tells you everything you need to know about yesterday’s “healthcare summit” and how effective it was.

This is what the politicians in Washington — both liberal and conservative — still aren’t getting. Tea parties. Town Hall meetings. New Jersey and Virginia. Massachusetts. Now this.

Memo to DC: you’d better start listening. Otherwise, November is going to be a vertibable veritable bloodbath.

Can. You. Hear. Us. Now.

The biggest mistake Republicans can make is in assuming that because so many people are now disgusted with the Democrats (and Obama in particular), that all the Republicans have to do is show up and we’ll vote for them.

Not so, Republicans! If you don’t unite and clearly redefine your platform and STICK TO IT, you will encourage someone like Sara Palin to “Go Rogue” in the next Presidential election and fire up a third party. All that will accomplish is what it did in the 90s when Ross Perot ran: It will take away enough votes from the conservatives to hand Obama another 4 years.

I don’t think the country could withstand 8 years of Obama. In fact, we’ll be lucky to get through 4 years.

It’s not that they don’t get it, they do. The dems just aren’t going to give up on this power grab. Plain and simple.

    Doug and Alan,
From the perspective of a big government Liberal, it must be like owning a merry-go-round, but still never quite being able to grab the brass ring. It must be maddening for them. They know that if they pull off the big health care grab, they will have the reins of power for a long, long time, and will have irrevocably changed the structure of our nation. They’ve been trying in one way or another for sooo long, and they’re sooo close…
