Scott Brown and the Wonderful Marvelous Very Good Day

What do you call a U.S. Senate candidate from Massachusetts – a Republican candidate, no less — who raked in  a cool $1.3 million bucks in grassroots campaign contributions in a 24-hour period?

Scott Brown!

Congratulations, Mr. Brown! Or should we say, “Senator Brown”?

The fight isn’t over… Martha Coakley has started her negative ad campaign trying to link Scott Brown to Washington Republicans…

But I can’t help but wonder how little her campaign may have raised yesterday in comparison!

The people of Massachusetts will, hopefully, be smart enough to see what Coakley is doing for what it is: An act of desperation.

Just because Bay Staters kept sending Ted Kennedy back to the Senate for 40 years, doesn’t necessarity mean they are not that bright. Remember, every day he was in Washington was a day he wasn’t in Massachusetts. I’m just sayin’…

Let’s hope that Senate seat changes hands quickly. Ted Kennedy was a legend. Time to start a new legend, and let’s hope that Scott Brown is the one to start building it now in the year 2010… the year we take this country back and start the healing process for the damages done by the Pelosi/Reid/Obama regime.
