Don’t know quite where to start… I’ve been following the comments of this post from the beginning. As I understand the thoughts, they vary from “the high road” to “tired of talking”. There’s a suggestion to stop paying taxes, and another more ominous hint that we’re on the “edge of a precipice”.
My $.02 (and it’s probably over-priced…) First and foremost, non-violence. Period. Non-violence. The worst possible thing conservatives (and this country for that matter) needs is an act of violence. Here’s why…
- People don’t quite understand “where we’re at” as a culture in 2009. As a barometer, the 1960s come to mind… In the ’60s we were still by and large Andy Griffith. Yes, yes, yes I know… There was the Klan and the Black Panthers… But most of us were either hippies, Andy G., or MLK. Still, even then we managed Selma and Watts. As a culture, we have changed wildly in 40 years. Look at the frequency and barbarism of school shootings of late. And then there’s stuff like TV, movies, magazines… If you’re old enough, think back to the shock of the Manson murders. Hell, now the slaughter of a family of six barely makes the news cycle, unless of course the carnage involves a high-speed car chase in which case we tune in like ghouls and wait for the crash.
- The second reason we must stay non-violent is because of the players who would be involved in 2009. In the sixties, the antagonists consisted of a rag-tag patchwork of liberals and civil-rights people vs. “The Establishment”. Today, it will be between the militias, the ticked-off taxpayer, the unions (you’d better believe they have their own militias), and ultimately the National Guard. Guess who’s going to win that war?
- The third reason we have to “go peaceful” is because of the galvanizing effect an act of violence would have on this country. For all its warts, Americans still believe in America. A violent act intended to “redirect America back to its roots” would be self-destructive in the extreme.
- Forth, carnage is unneeded… The blogs, Fox, Rush, National Review Magazine, et al are tearing the guts out of the liberal movement… Just wait for next year’s elections. We don’t have to apply any physical force to make evident the low IQ and high agenda of Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, et al… They’re doing a fine job all by themselves.
Finally… Political violence in America-2009 is just plain wrong… We can find a better way, even if it means temporary sacrifice. As I sit here, I have a copy of “The Declaration of Independence” and “The Constitution of the United States” beside me. https://secure.heritage.org/PocketConstitutions/?src=first. No one is going to take that away from me… Idiocy will come and go, but my book will be by my side just as it should be by yours. No bloodshed… No revolt… No violence… We’ll be OK.

It’s almost like we are backed into the corner that Ghandi found his country and people in. Anything short of civility would only serve the purposes of the oppressors.
I plan on doing all of my resistance at the polls, in the blogosphere, and over the fence with neighbors. Some folks are so committed and invested in the progressive cause that they can’t be saved.
I try not to waste time charging windmills, although the donkey gets restless and the broomstick gets thirsty for windmill quite often. It’s still a strategy that i find less than productive.
The committed can’t be saved. It’s that all important moderate middle of the road swing voter that needs a hug from the right.
The republicans blew it. They didn’t manage the media like the left did, they did spend money like it was going out of style, and they did not listen to the people.
Now the democrats are making the same mistakes. The media is not picking up on it, so grass roots is needed.
Like I said before, Rush is a bomb thrower for ratings and attention. He preaches to the choir. That’s not going to change much.
Refusing to take the bait, refusing to stoop to their level, and being civil is going to do more good than the “politics of confrontation”.
Think Mike (Huckabee) instead of thinking Rush. Remain calm, stay consistent, and leave personal rancor out of it.
I have some really strong feelings on the current leadership.
It’s more productive to point out to folks that their loved ones in the Gulf Theater were endangered by the defeatist speech of certain senators than it is to attack the heroes of the left.
Telling people about the Liverpool care pathway and it’s victims might cause them to think twice about socialized medicine.
Venting your spleen over progressive leaders may have the effect of gaining sympathy and support for the people you are ranting against. Let the left be the bad guys. They are good at it.
Don’t waste your time trying to rail against kids in Che T-shirts. Forget about preaching to the choir.
Concentrate on the folks who bought the bill of goods sold to them by the MSM last election. You can’t court the center from the fringe, it’s a fact.
The reason that I fight so hard to stay optimistic and positive is a certain knowledge that a gloomy salesperson is a hungry one.

I agree with you about the no violence.
The person who loses his temper to the point of the first physical blow is always wrong.
How is the action of ceasing to provide any more tax dollars until the gov’t goes to flat-tax an act of violence? It’s an act of doing “nothing”. I really think that’s the way to go. “Hit” them where it will hurt the most. Their reaction may be physical violence, which we will need to defend ourselves against if it comes to that, but, as I said, the person who makes the first physical blow is always wrong.
Putting new people into office in 2010 is fine, but the amount we’re paying stays the same. Do you really think in 2010 some wonderful politician is going to say, “Hey, let’s all take a pay cut and reduce our unreasonable benefits!” and congress is going to say, “Sure, no prob!”. Do you really think, in 2010, that they’re gonna say, “No more welfare! Force the bums to work!” Waiting another year for new politicians to take office is another year of uncontrolled spending, unforeseen laws enacted, mandated laws for daily living (healthcare) enforced.
Maybe I’m an idiot. Maybe I’m a pessimist. I don’t see any other option.
I don’t think it’s a matter of idiocy or pessimism. I don’t think our problem can be turned around in a single election.
The current situation did not occur in a single election cycle, and you are correct, it won’t be resolved in one either.
This experiment in Democracy has never been perfect. I am not ready to give up on it.
To me, refusing to pay taxes is a certain way to provoke a reaction that will be less than conducive to working the challenges of the country out in a peaceable manner.
Why the emphasis on peaceful? Visit a war zone for clarification.
You can’t rob a bank and shoot the security guard and call it self defense legally or morally.
If you do something that you reasonably expect will cause a government agent to use force against you ( and joining the ranks of illegal tax protesters has been known to do just that) it’s still not self defense when you retaliate.
Are some taxes immoral/illegal? i think they are. Do they endanger my life to the point where violence is called for? Not even close.
Do we still have the means to work within our democracy to change it? I would argue that we do and that implies a duty to do so.
For me, it’s not implied – it’s explicit because I have taken the oath of office at least three times.

The “precipice” I talk about is the debt situation. The Federal Govt. spent 56 BILLION more than it took in in Sept. ALONE! What’s the red ink amount for all of ’09? Something like 1.4 TRILLION I believe. Banks are failing every day almost. Personal credit card debt is in the TRILLIONS! The “real” unemployment percentages are around 16%, not 9.8%. They aren’t counting those whose benefits have run out or have simply stopped trying to find work. I really need for some really intelligent person to simply explain to me how to sustainably stabilize these situations without raising my taxes anymore. I’ve always been willing to pay more than my fair share (and I have) but I am Tapped, sliding backwards actually, and am not willing to take much more of it. Peace Folks.

* Not paying your taxes will never work. Not enough people will do it. Welcome to gray-bar hotel.
* Given past comments… I worry about phrases like “tired of talking”… While this may feel like we’re just blowing off steam amongst ourselves, it’s so important to understand that a lot of people read this blog… The last time I checked we had 220,000+ viewers during a recent 30-day period. All it takes is one nut job…
* As for taxes and sacrifice birdseed anarchist… You struck to the absolute core of the issue. What price do we pay to keep this republic together until it regains its collective sanity and sense of fairness? How long do we suffer the slings and arrows of unfair fate until our society pulls its collective head out of its collective nether regions? I don’t know… All I can do is point to places like Gettysburg and Antietam… Over 600,000 Americans died to right an insanity… And now we have a naive, re-distributive delusion that in its sinisterness pales by comparison to the 1860s, yet the modern-day violent reaction to it bears the fruit of Manson and beyond.
Anyone who can Goggle knows that groups and anger are gathering… And anyone with a sense of history and a sober bit of realism can reason that that ain’t the way… They’re playing with fire over a political fad… Obama, Pelosi, Boxer et al will fade away… The ship will right itself unless someone does something obscene like Oklahoma City or Bobby Kennedy.

I don’t think I can see the big picture. Sometimes when I’m learning about things I don’t completely understand, I need an actual picture drawn (my welder-husband would totally agree with my ‘problem’ LOL).
My life is relatively simple.
My kids were not allowed to have their own computer in their rooms – they shared the family computer. They were not allowed to have their own phone in their rooms – they shared the family phone. They were not allowed to have a cell phone – they had a track (sp?) phone for emergency use only. They were not given a car at 16 – they had to buy their own and pay their own insurance (child labor laws in MO do not apply when the child works for the parent’s business. I ‘gifted’ their cars to them when they moved out.)
When my kids were ‘bad’, for whatever time I deemed necessary, I took away their car or computer-privilages (not for homework) or friend-activities as punishment. I made them put 100% of their earnings in the bank (my usual rule was 50% which is why they could all buy a car at age 16). I gave them extra chores like cleaning baseboards in the house. These ‘punishments’ worked. They wouldn’t abuse curfew again, etc.
I know I’m rambling, sorry. My point is, I understand reward and punishment to right a wrong. I understand withhold and give back. This is why I’ve been so focused on tax dollars. It makes sense to me; withhold during the ‘grounding period’, then give back when they’ve learned their lesson.
Can you explain, in a way I’ll understand, how simply putting new politicians into office will ‘fix’ the mess we’re in?
The ridiculous gov’t spending, the ridiculous gov’t programs, the ridiculous politician-corporation-pocket-padding, the waste of our money with bail-outs/stimulus/etc., the deficit, the health care plan being forced down our throats because we don’t know what’s for our own good, the freedoms being taken away from us (on the news this morning, they’ve suspended a fire-fighter for having an American Flag sticker on his locker), the president refusing to speak to his military commander for over 2 months about the war our country’s involved in?
I’m frustrated, confused, angry, and I just can’t see the picture you see.
There’s an interesting dynamic contained in the range of responses to Alan’s original rant (Herd Intuition) as well as this one.
It ranges from the “I’m mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore!” to those who give us a glimpse to the choices before us as “the next step beyond mad as hell.”
A big Grand Rants thanks to all of you who have responded in your own voice. But I want to also extend serious Kudos to:
Alan: for your follow up that really highlights the importance of patience and temporary sacrifice. I strongly believe that this is the solution. We all “own” a part of the mess we’re in, so we can all share in the temporary discomfort of a sensible and stable rebuilding of our economy and hey – while we’re at it – how about our society in general?
Doug: Your response is so spot on, I bow to you. While others are ready to jump to the reckless course of violence which will only assure the end of America perhaps, forever, your measured response of taking the time to rebuild slowly even if it takes several elections is made of the right stuff. THIS is how we take back control of the nation. Not by giving in to violence (or worse, leading the charge), but by knowing that our very Constitution provides the map to economic and political recovery. If we learned nothing else from the Civil War…
Birdseed Anarchist: Without knowing you, it’s easy to read more intent into your comments than what’s probably there. Yet your anger is real (I can feel the heat on my face as I read your words) and so is your frustration. All I can say is that perhaps it’s the epitome of “we reap that which we sow” AS A SOCIETY, not you personally. We have been too careless as a society for several generations now. We’ve been gluttenous as consumers while good people like you have worked hard to build the success we all seek. For years we were told, “Work hard and success will find a path to your door.” Sadly, that doesn’t take into consideration the brick wall of reality our culture finally hit. It doesn’t help that we have politicians who see this as an opportunity for them to be swept into power on the promise that they can fix everything and that they had nothing to do with the creation of the problem. The problem with THAT is they did, very much so, have a LOT to do with the problem.
I hope and pray you can hang on while we turn this around. This isn’t a TV show where the problem is solved and rectified within 60 minutes, including time for 8 commercial breaks.
But from this struggle, we will all emerge wiser and with facts to pass on to our children so that they don’t have to go through (in the future) what you’re going through now. Hang in there, friend.
My concern: For survivalists to take matters into their own hands only assures the worst possible outcome. It’s easier said than done, I know, but hang in there just a bit longer. We, the people are as much to blame for our economy as the politicians. And while I think Obama is making all the WRONG moves to get this country back (which also makes me wonder if this is by intent), the overall quamire has been building slowly over a number of Presidencies. Slow and steady… that’s how we’ll get it done.
That said, if Obama were to declare the Constitution null and void, that’s a different matter. And, at this point, I don’t think he will go that route. It might have worked when he had so many Americans falling for his personality and speeches. Not only would he not have the support of the vast majority in this country, but something tells me the rest of the free world would not put up with it either.
We will have our answer within the next 14 months. If Obama moves to block or delay the next elections, be afraid. Be VERY afraid. But If the elections go off without interference, and the results are honored by the powers that be, we will be on our way to recovery.
Simply put, the Democrats have tipped their hand. The only thing “transparent” about the government as being run by Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barney Frank is what their real agenda is.
We must stay on our game, however, until we defeat Obamacare which, in reality, only assures the total annihilation of our health care system. It’s really a shame the election isn’t THIS November. But you can bet the Not-so-fantastic 4 will be doing their best to position themselves differently over the coming months. Don’t let them get away with it.

Here’s a simple answer. People like you need to run for office. “Impossible!” you say… Not so. Look at Sarah Palin’s beginnings.
America is starting to turn its disappointed eyes away from the Camelot and towards the common sense… Look at the Tea Party and Obama’s falling ratings. Look at the success of Fox News, Glenn Beck, and Bill O’Reilly… Harry “The War Is Lost” Reid and Nancy “500 Million Jobs Lost per month” Pelosi don’t have a clue, and they’ve proven it.
My guess is that we’re bottoming out when it comes to our politicians… My fear is that we as a culture have reached a point whereby we can’t find people of high character and gray matter who are willing to run for office… If that is the case then we are doomed as a society. I don’t think we’re there yet, but if we reach that point… Well… We’ve made our bed and get to sleep in it.

Now that my tinfoil hat is on and I can hear the little voices clearly ( :-} ), I would like to disagree with you on one point:
I think Congressman Pelosi ( I don’t discriminate on gender ) and Senator Reid are very tuned in. I believe that they know exactly what they are doing.
This cat strongly disagrees with their vision of what America should be, but I don’t believe they are clueless.
Overly Optimistic regarding how much longer they can fool all the people, absolutely. Perhaps in that regard they are clueless. You have to admit, the left has done a great job of marching us down the path to a huge nanny state.
Heck, the republicans even played along when they had both houses. Somehow the “party of no” said yes to more and more spending, more government in our lives. That’s mastery on the part of the progressives.
My thing is I don’t want to underestimate my opponents even a little bit. Probably not healthy to make them something they aren’t either.
Still, I think these folks know exactly what they are doing. I hope they remain in denial about the true strength in numbers of the opposition to their vision of our future.
Here’s also hoping that the herd instinct continues to bring people together who suddenly sense that something ain’t right.

IMHO, part of being a “tuned-in” politician is to know the basics. One shouldn’t even try to spin their appraisal of a situation when he or she doesn’t even know what the situation is all about. Sarah Palin’s bungling of the “Bush Doctrine” question and the stunning “Freedonia Question” (http://www.nytimes.com/1993/01/13/us/isn-t-freedonia-next-to-oz.html) also come to mind…
The Web and Blogs have changed everything… Nowadays, politicians (like boatbuilders) had better know what the heck they’re talking about, or their ship is going to sink 😉

Thanks for your thoughtful and wise words. I think I needed to blow off some steam and for the first time, in front of other people. (This forum) In reality I am a peaceful man in a very peaceful business. I think I am just really frustrated like the rest of us. I will say though, there are many people out there buying guns and stockpilimg ammo. I know a few of them and there is definitely a growing danger with this development. I am not giving up, I will continue to take the high road and keep plugging along. I think some dark days may lie ahead, and from so many possible sources here and abroad. Thank you for being so patient with me.
When I was in elementary school (in the olden days), I was taught that the gov’t had a great system of checks and balance: the house, the senate, the Presidential Veto. This was to assure the constitution was to be upheld and honored and that the people, in a nutshell, wouldn’t get screwed. Unfortunately, that system only works if moral and honest people outweigh the immoral and dishonest ones in congress, and, of course, the president, himself, is Utopian-honest and vetoes all unreasonable bills that, in the long run, will hurt the people/country.
If only moral and honest people ran for office, our country would be wonderful.
We have a great constitution, which over the years has become ‘clouded’ into grey areas. Freedom to speak has become freedom to act, freedom of religion has become freedom from religion, etc. Regardless of who is in office, corruption is allowed and even encouraged because of the grey areas. Federal has taken over state. Federal has taken over individual. There are no rules. It’s become like the bible; open for interpretation. The only ones who speak the actual grey language are those in office and those put in power by those in office. We, the people, are ordered to learn and live by the numerous new interpretations mandated to us.
I guess it can’t be ‘cut and dry’. I guess there can’t be ‘rules’ put in place because there are exceptions to every rule. But simply hoping someone elected to office will be honest and moral is not a sufficient check-and-balance system.
I don’t want to offend anyone, but when my niece had leukemia, we all prayed for her recovery. We all hoped she would get better. If her parents, because of religious beliefs, had refused medical treatment, they would have been arrested and charged with child endangerment and had her as well as their other two children removed and placed in a ‘loving’ family. If we all had waited to see if the hope and prayer would be enough, she’d have become sicker and sicker and would now be dead. But we didn’t rely on hope and prayer, we also took her to doctors and for chemo treatments. Because of the quick actions by her parents, she’s now cured.
I know an entire country can’t be compared equally to a sick child, but I still don’t think ‘hope’ is enough.

P.S. I wasn’t kidding about you running for local office. Keep in mind that all of my ideas may not align with yours, but that’s not the point… We need people who are trustworthy… Run for office.
Interesting responses all, sparked, at least in part, by one of my earlier posts about not wanting to talk anymore. It would be tempting to say “my work here is done”, for indeed a part of my intent was to stir up the silt at the bottom of the pond and see how it settled. Alan and Gerry’s admonition to keep it peaceful is certainly the responsible thing to say, and Doug weighed in with reason and passion in equal portions. Solana wants explanations that she knows cannot be given, and she is right, too, while holding out for a tax rebellion.
A couple of points: when the Brits went just a little too far, Colonials dumped tea into Boston Harbor rather than pay the new tax. It didn’t have any positive effect on the British. Troops were sent into the streets and eventually the shot at Concord happened. Why? Because the combined arrogance and condescension of the British royalty and their minions, coupled with their incessant need for ever more revenues made them go too far. These cats will go too far as well.
Alan has his copy of the Declaration and the Constitution by his side (as do I) and he cautions us “Idiocy will come and go, but my book will be by my side just as it should be by yours. No bloodshed… No revolt… No violence… We’ll be OK.” Well, OK, Alan, but that “book” is being ignored, side-stepped, circumvented, misinterpreted, violated, and marginalized on a daily basis, and the only people who have any authority to do anything about it on our behalf won’t, because they are part of the problem, not the solution.
Yes, there will be (probably) an election next year, but that mid-term vote won’t change the White House occupants nor the Justice Dept, nor any judges to speak of. The best that can be hoped for is that the Republicans take back some seats in both houses. My question is then: So? All of you agreed that they helped get us in this mess, too. This president will still have two more years of screw ups to inflict on us, and if even only some of what they want to do actually happens, Humpty Dumpty is going to be very tough to put back together again, if at all.

Indeed, Alan, your fear is not unfounded. Who do you know that wants to run the gamut to get into office? Do you? Doug, do you? Solana? Gerry? No? Me either. There are one or two candidates here locally who appear to have the right stuff, and maybe one at our state level, but candidates for the House or Senate all seem to already be inflicted with terminal indebtedness to some special interest(s). Besides, as soon as they get to D.C., they find out how the good ol’ boy network operates, and fall right in line with the rest of them who seem to be more concerned with getting reelected than with accomplishing the people’s work.
OH, wait a minute! That’s right! There is the REALLY big problem! There is no consensus as to what the “people’s work” is! We are literally NOT the United States anymore! Instead of having the same goals, but favoring different paths, as we once could have been described, we now have diametrically opposing goals! Hello? Hello?
Nevertheless, calm yourselves, you don’t have to worry about me. I’m too old.
But, if you think that we only have to wait a while for the country to heal itself back to the roots of the Constitution with an election or two or three, I think you are fatally optimistic. Dems and Repubs aren’t going to do it. They either are not motivated to do so, or have no clue how to do so. If history is any judge, any effort to raise a strong third party will only assure the Dems continued victory.
You can stick a fork in this turkey, it’s done!
We’ve got a couple of decades of European style socialism to look forward to, then most of the world will be under Sharia law for another few hundred years.
Well, that is, unless the 2012 thing happens! 🙂

No amnesty, not again Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I’m not a racist. This isn’t to be confused with legal immigration.
Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.
Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped imme diately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.
Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.
Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don’t you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!
Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don’t you start there.
Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money I don’t trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.
Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now. Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let’s just slow down and get some input from some nonpoliticians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I’m busy. I’m busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.
I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of the recent spending.
From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop.20 We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington . Our president often knows all the right buzzword is unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don’t want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we’re morons.
We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we’re so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work, pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the pat riotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn’t ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us when he will rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.
Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don’t care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them Because we will get you fired and they will not save you. If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming.”
