Pelosi: Fire Her Useless Keister

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has to go, and here’s why…

On Monday, September 14, 2009, the Senate overwhelmingly voted to cut off funding to ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). If you’re reading this, the odds are pretty good that you learned of this back on Monday when it happened. Also, the odds are that you don’t even work for the government, let alone work as a U.S. Representative.  Yet consider that the Speaker of the House of Representatives “confessed” on Wednesday that she didn’t even know of the vote that had happened in the other house of Congress. It defies belief.

Keep in mind also that “Her Royal Nancyness” voted not once, not twice, but six times to block some sort of control of ACORN’s access to public funds.

So, it looks like there are three possible explanations for this “I missed that defund ACORN vote” on the part of Pelosi:

  • She really didn’t know because she (typo fix… that should be “she’s”) incomprehensibly incompetent.
  • She really didn’t know because she’s profoundly stupid… (This is a real possibility since Nancy thought we were losing 500,000,000 jobs per month and said so twice.)
  • She did know about the vote, and just lied to us.

Take your pick, but however you explain this one, Nancy Pelosi should be looking for new work. At this point, I seriously wonder if she has the integrity and/or brains to flip burgers.

P.S. Here are the “Acorn Seven” who voted to keep funding ACORN… Remember, some of these folks come up for re-election in 2012.

Dick Durbin (D-IL)
Roland Burris (D-IL)
Robert Casey (D-PA)
Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)
Patrick Leahy (D-VT)
Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI)

Proof positive that we’re getting too much government — at too high a cost. While our representatives enjoy their perks, they can’t handle the workload they, themselves, are advancing.

  2. Ken Voss says:

I would agree with the comments made. Nancy, if national election would lose, and not by a small number of votes. What ever happen to the CIA data that she received and couldn’t remember?

Decent people rely on their burger flippers having more integrity than politicians millions of times per day.

    • Hi Doug,

      Thanks for your comment…

Man oh man are you right on that… I blew it when I suggested that burger flipping was some sort of societal low… Being a manipulative, selfish, agenda-driven, soulless weasel in a place of power is the ultimate low, and unless this rant is fundamentally wrong, Pelosi shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same breath with those who earn an honest living of any sort.

      Good catch Doug… My bad.

The politicians that voted for funding Acorn will be removed, obviously. There is little doubt on that. What bothers me more is that they actually felt obliged to vote to waste more taxpayer money. What world do these people live in? I’m in law enforcement, and it will be obvious to me that if any of these idiots get re-elected then the justice department and law enforcement should concentrate their efforts on these individuals that managed to get re-elected despite their votes. It won’t take a mental giant to figue it out and go after them.

    • Hi Dave,

Thanks for your comment, and thanks for serving your community…

The world these politicians live in is one of almost unimaginable wealth and power. (The following is from RollCall.)
      … John Kerry: $230 million
      … Jane Harman: $225 million
      … Darrell Issa: $160 million
      … J. Rockerfeller: $80 million
      … Robin Hayes: $78 million

If you think these people hold the values, perspective, and concerns of you and I, I’ve got some swampland for sale cheap in Fla…

As for re-election… Just watch. Money doesn’t talk, it swears. (HT BD).
