  1. Gerry Ashley says:

WHAT????? Someone who is walking away from a potential position in the Obama dynasty, and it DOESN’T have anything to do with Back Taxes? Who’d a thunk??

Oh wait… what was I thinking? He’s a Republican. Yeah, I’d want to separate myself as far as possible from Obama and his group.

This is devastasting to the Obamanistas in a number of ways. This is the second nominee to withdraw his name from nomination. Smart move.

According to the Senator’s own statement: “However, it has become apparent during this process that this will not work for me as I have found that on issues such as the stimulus package and the Census there are irresolvable conflicts for me.”

Let’s translate that a bit: This “Crapulous” package that’s about to be shoved down our throat is going to be a HUGE disaster. Obama wants to have a few Republicans on board so if it tanks, he can point fingers and feed those republicans to the gallows (or worse, ACORN when the targeted person comes up for re-election.

Judd Gregg is smart enough to recognize this.

He’s also smart enough to see the unprecidented act of the Obama-nation act of seizing and turning the census over to Raum Emanuel.

I think it’s human nature to want to step as far away from a pile of crap as possible.

Smart move, Gregg… nice to see someone still has some standards in D.C.
